Abstract
An assessment instrument of classroom environment and two creativity measures were administered to 154 male and 196 female 6th graders from Barbados, Grenada, and St. Vincent to correlate classroom environment with creative performance. Significant positive correlations for the total sample emerged between creativity and two environmental variables-satisfaction and competitiveness. Negative correlations were observed between creativity and measures of friction, difficulty, and cohesiveness in the classroom. No sex differences emerged
