The Management of Distance Education: Held 24-28 June, 1996 Barbados: Collection of Selected Handouts

Abstract

This workshop item forms the first of a series of three presented jointly by the University of the West Indies and the International Extension College. The intention is to introduce staff working at the UWI to some of the issues, consideration and implications of establishing and maintaining distance education programmes in a regional university. The programmes is designed to support the university plan to extend educational opportunities and provisions through the development and introduction of dual mode programmes.
