dc.description.abstractThis formative evaluation of Trinidad and Tobago’s Secondary Education Modernization Programme (SEMP) was conducted in two areas: The Qualitative Improvement Sector, with sub-components in curriculum; training and learning strategies; professional development; and assessment, testing and evaluation; and institutional strengthening. It is presented in four sections: Section 1 is a summary of findings and recommendations; Section 2 contains the reports on three components of the Qualitative Improvement Sector: curriculum; teaching and learning strategies, and professional development; Section 3 is a report on assessment, testing, and evaluation; Section 4 covers institutional strengthening.
