dc.description.abstract | The syllabus aims to help students to display: knowledge and understanding of scientific concepts and processes; ability to apply scientific concepts and principles to everyday situations; knowledge of the language of science and ability to use this language to communicate effectively; skill in handling apparatus and materials; objectivity in observing and recording; ability to assess and interpret data and make inferences; ability to select information and apply such information to new situations; ability to design and carry out scientific investigations; willingness to work co-cooperatively with others; willingness to persist with a task to a logical conclusion; respect for life and property; appreciation of the necessity to use wisely the resources of the environment. | en_US |
