This is a mission report for improving primary teacher training and secondary teacher training in the Caribbean. It stresses teacher training curriculum to cope with the needs of pupils in the 10- to 15-year age group, and examines curriculum development for science education, mathematics education, and the teaching of English. It also considers teaching materials, including non-book materials, and such teaching methods as multi-media instruction, inservice teacher training, microteaching, and the use of school workshops. The problems of educational administration and educational supervision are reviewed
