dc.description
The process of reform of the St. Kitts-Nevis education system was initiated in 1966. It continued with the passage of relevant legislation in 1975, but since 1976 has been impeded, apparently because of public reaction against certain government proposals for restructuring the system. A new direction was charted in 1983. This paper stresses that fundamental change and the fostering of creativity are needed in the education system of St. Kitts-Nevis
