In Jamaica, the Opposition party is threatening to boycott the budget debate. Florida's tourism industry is affected by its soil erosion problem and it is seeking to buy sand from the nearby beaches of the Bahamas. Teresa Butler, an official in the Office of the Bahamian Prime Minister, is in charge of the project and comments on Bahamas' concerns. America's biggest journalism prize, the Pulitzer was awarded to the US Virgin Islands Daily News.
