dc.description.abstract The article reviews the Steelband Preliminaries South in which 20 steelbands participated. However, there was an incident where the Secretary of the Carnival Development Committee, Oswald Williams was hospitalized with a broken leg. The bands played Sparrow's tunes, making him the most popular contender for the Road March and the steelbands qualifying for the semi-finals are listed. en_US
