dc.description.abstractThe article reviews the Steelband Preliminaries South in which 20 steelbands participated. However, there was an incident where the Secretary of the Carnival Development Committee, Oswald Williams was hospitalized with a broken leg. The bands played Sparrow's tunes, making him the most popular contender for the Road March and the steelbands qualifying for the semi-finals are listed.en_US
