The sweet sounds of the steel pan filled the air in San Fernando on Sunday night as a host of southern steel orchestras took to the streets. The event, dubbed Pan and Mas in the Streets, was organised by the San Fernando City Council as part of a series of activities commemorating San Fernando's city week celebrations.

The Golden Hands Steel Orchestra delivered outstanding performances during the 2006 Antigua and Barbuda Moods of Pan Festival, capturing the respect and approval of thousands of pan enthusiasts. The seventh annual Moods of Pan Festival, was organised by the Gemomites Steel Orchestra in collaboration with the government of Antigua and Barbuda.
