However, there is some criticism of the way in which the government is rebuilding the country in terms of foreign investment. Reverend Randolph George, Anglican Bishop states the reasons which he thinks that the Guyanese people are expecting too much too soon - Sandra Baptiste reports. President Cheddi Jagan presented the Independence Awards at a ceremony at the National Cultural Center to mark the first anniversary of the elections. And, Merle Hinds, Managing Director of Hotel Management Services hopes to help Guyana explore its tourism potential by offering tourism services and training, especially in the area of eco-tourism (04:34 -10:54).en_US
