Joy Gardner has been on a life support machine since the incident at her home in London, six days ago. An internal enquiry by the Police Complaints Authority was launched to investigate the events which led to her death. Mrs. Gardner’s family is considering civil action against the police, the Home Office and the Immigration Authority.
