This photograph depicts Dr. Eric Williams, first Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago (centre) as he chats with Sir Arthur Lewis (left) Vice Chancellor of The UWI and Sir Philip Sherlock, Pro-Vice Chancellor of The UWI. In 1964 Sir Sherlock rose from Pro Vice-Chancellor to succeed Sir Arthur Lewis as the Vice-Chancellor of The UWI.
