Abstract
In this vintage photograph of the interior of the Great Cave at Gasparee also known as Gaspar Grande of the north-west coast of Trinidad, British West Indies, one can see the fascinating sculptures formed through the erosion of limestone by water. The back wall of this cave looks sharp and craggy and one huge stalagmite, a conical formation growing up from the cave’s floor, resembles a hand reaching up out of the cave’s base. The caves are one of Trinidad’s tourist attractions.
