Abstract
The postcard shows a small boat, possibly a fishing boat, in the sea channel called the First Boca or Boca de Monos which separates Monos Island from the Chaguaramas Peninsula of Trinidad. The First Boca or Boca de Monos is the first of four sea channels in the body of water known as the Boca del Dragon (Dragon’s Mouth) which lies between Trinidad and Venezuela. The other three sea channels in the Dragon's Mouth are: The Second Boca or Boca de Huevos (which separates Monos from Huevos Island); The Third Boca or Boca de Navios or Ships' Passage (which lies between Huevos and Chacachacare Islands) and Boca Grande or Grand Boca (beyond Chacachacare Island).
