dc.description.abstractPhotograph of an East Indian couple in traditional wear. The woman is wearing a sari, with a bodice and full skirt. She is adorned with a nath (nose ring), earrings and hair ornament which fringes her forehead. She is also wearing necklaces, rings, toe rings, bangles and armlets. The man is dressed in a dhoti and a kurta while a turban adorns his head. The postcard includes a Trinidad and Tobago a penny stamp dated May 25th 1908.en
