Abstract

This photograph showcases rural housing often inhabited by people of low income. There are about four houses with thatched roofs. The second house has two windows openings. The thatched mat that closes them, and that is fastened to the wall, is raised almost to the roof and held up by two sticks. The street is wide but instead of a pavement thick grasses grow. Many coconut palms and forest type trees grow among the houses.
