The article laments that Trinidad and Tobago's tourism potential has not been developed, much less exploited, although Trinidad is to Carnival what Brazil is to football. Carnival, calypso and steelband are the sources of our well deserved reputation for creative, unpredictable, authentic spectacle but Carnival has not been organized and commercialized to a point where it can attract a large international audience.en_US
