Abstract

A picture of the walkway leading to the Government House main building with a fountain at the centre, tropical plants of the Botanical Gardens line the walkway. When Trinidad and Tobago became a republic in 1976, this house, then the residence of the Governor-General, was designated "The President's House", and became the residence of the President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
