Abstract
This article is part 1 of the post mortem of the 1986 Steelbands Music Festival where Witco Desperadoes, the boys from the hill, after an absence of 19 years, returned to the festival and became champions. Conductor, Pat Bishop, who has been honoured by the Government for her contribution to music, admits to looking forward to a lasting relationship with the band. Previous accomplishments and achievements of Witco Desperadoes are provided.
