Abstract
St. Peters Chapel was built in 1876 by the people of Carenage under the guidance of their parish priest Abbe Poujade and named after the patron saint of fishermen. On the seaward side of the chapel is a large statue of St. Peter. After many year of declined use, the chapel fell into disrepair and in July 2007 it was restored and blessed by Archbishop Edward Gilbert.
