Abstract
This busy city scene shows Trafalgar Square in Bridgetown, Barbados. Many persons are seen going about their business. Many boats are docked in the Careenage. Nelson Statue is seen prominently at the center of the photograph. In the background are several commercial buildings. Horse drawn carts line the street. Many people, dressed in the fashion of the day, engage in various activities dockside. The postcard also carries the name Nordeutscher Lloyd Bremen, a major German shipping company, at the back, as well as the words Ocean Comfort Company m.m. H. Bremen. H.82-1
