dc.description.abstractThe Faculty of Engineering, UWI revealed in a paper that there is no organization in Trinidad and Tobago geared to explore and development the commercial potential of the steelband. The paper pointed out that the processes used by the pan tuners are time consuming and not consistently uniform. It recommended a study of feasibility of establishing and industry based on the manufacturing of instruments. Also, steelband should play an integral part in the education system.en_US
