Abstract
The first steelband to go abroad was Red Army but the clippiong proves that they were issued a severe warning for bad behaviour. Additionally they used bad language in the presence of a policeman and were fined. Their manager said it was unfortunate that they should get into so much trouble in so short a stay. He promised to leave British Guiana at the earliest opportunity.
