dc.description.abstractUWI Mona to distribute over 500 new devices to needy students. The University of the West Indies Jamaica will distribute over 500 devices to needy students to distance learning. This is through a cross-sector partnership with Support Students at the UWI Mona Campus. The UWI Development and Empowerment Fund recently donated 500 new tablets while the World Bank, through its International Bank for Reconstruction and Development donated 15 laptops. Pro Vice Chancellor and Principal of the UWI Mona Campus expressed gratitude for the support.
