1. The US based National Coalition for Haiti Refugees is not impressed by President Bill Clintonās announcement to tighten the embargo against Port Au Prince. Jocelyn McCalla, Executive Director for the Coalition of Haitian Refugees in an interview with Debbie Ransome believes that Clintonās decision had been based on domestic politics (00:34 -03:05).
2. Forty-seven Haitian artists in Europe have used one hundred and five paintings in and exhibition Paris to bring about change regarding the de facto regime in Haiti. Ricky Singh, President of the Caribbean Association of Media Workers is not too confident about the implementation of the Charter.
