The Carnival Monday Night Steelband Competition in San Fernando paid tribute to the late calypsonian Stanley Cummings, better known as 'Squibby". The steelbands were required to play one of Squibby's songs in the pan competition. While there were mundane performances by some of the steelbands, the midnight mas rescued the celebrations for hundred of spectators.en_US
