Head of Puerto Rico’s Pro-Independent Party, Ruben Berrios, says he will defy the US Navy and set foot on their installation on Vieques to continue his protest against bombing practice there. Prison officers are calling on the government to improve their pay and working conditions, and to recruit more officers. He was quoted as telling the magazine, “Cricket Talk” in India that he suspected foul play since the 1970s. However he dismissed any suggestion that the Windies may have thrown away the 1983 World Cup final, a match they were heavily favoured to win against India. (09:33-11:00)
