dc.description.abstractCabinet agreed to implement some of the recommendations of the recent National Consultation on the Steelband, to promote steelbandsmen. These recommendations included providing permanent government employment of two top local pan tuners, organising special courses to train panmen in music and business administration. A survey will be conducted to determine the number of persons engaged in the steelband movement.en_US
