St. Lucia’s opposition labour party leader, John Hunt is in London lobbying on behalf of the Windward Island banana producers for continued preferential treatment when Europe becomes a single market in 1992. At the Canadian enquiry into drug use by amateur athletes, Dr. Jamie Asterfan confessed to supplying drugs to the Canadian athletes.
