dc.description.abstractAn informal conversation between mom, Ava and her midwife Veronica. Ava recalls her birth experience. Prior to delivery, Ava had eight ultrasounds and was told she was having a girl, to prepare she bought everything pink for her baby only to be surprised on the day of delivery to give birth to a boy.She discusses how the home birth differed from the birth in the hospital. She shares how having a home birth made it easier for her son to latch on for breastfeeding.
