Abstract
Mr. Richard Forteau, Pan Trinbago representative, made an impassioned plea to Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Ashton Ford to lobby vigorously for the inclusion of the steelband on the national educational curriculum after he received a $60,000 donation from Trinidad and Tobago External Telecommunications Company Limited (TEXTEL), to mark International Youth Year.
