| dc.description.abstract | Fine stalactites and rocky stalagmites are seen draping from the ceiling and coming from the floor of this Great Cave, Gasparee, Trinidad, B.W.I. in this vintage photograph. They form unusual sculpture-like formations against the caves massive interior. There is a large pool of water reflecting the cave’s contents at the centre of the photograph and on the left of the photograph, where the stalactites and stalagmites meet, a column has formed. | en |
