Abstract
The postcards shows downtown Port of Spain bustling with activity. On the northern side of the Marine Square is the Canadian Bank of Commerce - on the corner of Marine Square North-West and Abercromby Street and Fogarty's - a general store with men's and ladies departments, fabric department, kitchen department and so on to the west of the bank. Marine Square was renamed Independence Square in 1962.
