Abstract

A scenic picture showing three Caucasian women standing on the grounds of Sam Lord’s Castle in St. Philip, Barbados, a site steeped in history and legend. In the background, there is an ocean view. This once-grand Georgian mansion, built in 1820 by the infamous buccaneer Samuel Hall Lord, evoked tales of maritime deception and opulence. This is a divided back postcard.
Back of the postcard CNTP £3.50 (Handwritten in pencil). Color made by DEXTER PRESS, Inc., West Nyack, N.Y. Photograph by H. Frisch. 93787. Made in U.S.A.
