1. There has been mixed reaction to Bernie Grant, Guyanese born British Labour MPs call for the government to consider paying black people who want to leave Britain permanently. Another black MP - Paul Yaw Boateng says that MP Grant’s notions are counter-productive to a multi-racial society. Dr. Harry Goldberg, Ethic Research Centre in the University of Warwick, who believes that MP Bernie’s words are ill advised. Unofficially, a government funded repatriation scheme operating for the past twenty-one years – part of the 1971 Immigration Act, and administered by International Social Services.
