dc.description.abstractThis article discuses Selwyn ‘Parry’ Paul’s earlier days as a pan player and how he began the Parry’s Pan School in June of 1990. The Pan School’s first group of children came from the St. Mary's EC Primary School in Tacarigua. Parry’s Pan School went on to place in several National Panorama and School Festivals. The Pan School also toured and was invited to Malaysia for the Mines Millennium Celebration and later went on a cultural exchange.en_US
