Abstract
This photograph shows a portion of upper Scarborough, the capital of Tobago. There are many people and cars in the street. The apparel of the men and women and the children’s uniforms are all simple. The school goers are easily distinguishable because they are wearing white socks. Everyone is keeping clear of the center of the street. The cars and buses are from the era of the 1960s and 1970s. Someone is repairing one, at left. The buildings all appear to be made of concrete with many windows. The ones at left are single story. Most of the buildings on the right are on a hill, two-storied, with red, galvanized roofs. On the top, left of the hill are coconut palms. A red and white sign saying “Health Exhibition” can just be read near the centre of the photograph.
