Abstract
Description on the back of the postcard: "Chaconier [sic] (Warszewiczia coccinea) is a small tree common in the forests of Trinidad and often making a splendid roadside display. It is named after General Chacon, the last Spanish Governor of the island." The image used for this postcard has been reproduced from the colour drawings of W.G. Freeman.
