dc.description.abstractThis postcard shows the Gru-Gru palm, which is native to tropical regions. It normally grows 15-20 m tall with a trunch up to 50 cm in diameter. It bears a yellowish-green fruit which is 2.5-5 cm in diameter and it contains a nut like seed which is difficult to break. This used postcard was sent to Miss M.Hewett of Nova Scotia, Canada and affixed is a penny Trinidad and Tobago postage stamp.en
