Abstract
This vintage photograph of the Pitch Lake at Brighton, La Brea south west Trinidad highlights its buildings at centre and right horizon. There is a cylindrical squat oil storage tank at left horizon. Rainwater has accumulated on the surface of the Pitch Lake and a man in a hat is stooping nest to a large clump of grass growing near the water.
