A fire bomb placed under the Prime Minister’s car was discovered by his son. The incident was seen as an indication of the increasingly violent face of local politics. Recently, two petrol bombs were thrown at the home of the party’s leader of Oduber’s ruling People Electoral Movement. No one has claim responsibility for either incidents. The enquiry was ordered after a public outcry sparked by the appearance of a witness to the killings on a radio talk show in Kingston.
