dc.description.abstract | A picture of a bunch of Pomerack (Syzygium malaccense) on a branch. Also know as Malay or Mountain Apple. The fruit is pear-shaped and dark red in colour, although some varieties have white or pink skin. The flesh is white and surrounds a large seed. The flesh makes a jam prepared by stewing with brown sugar and ginger. | en |
