Abstract
Hosanna is a dramatic literary work by Jamaican author Victor Stafford Reid, presented here in its third draft form. The manuscript explores themes of social struggle, redemption, and the moral awakening of individuals within a community burdened by oppression and moral decay. Through the voice of its central characters, Reid portrays the tension between faith, colonial legacy, and the human yearning for liberation. This version reflects Reid’s narrative craftsmanship and his continued effort to depict the transformative power of justice and belief within the Caribbean context.
