Abstract
In reply to Pete Simon's article "Privy on Pan", the article points out a myth within that article and disagrees with another point contained within. The myth that steelbandsmen are disowned by society because they were steelbandsmen and the point of disagreement was the belief that an outsider can not do a better job than a local, in terms of pan festival judging.
