Abstract
Mud huts or ajoupas were used by the former indentured East Indians. The walls of the hut are made from a mixture of clay, grass, cow dung and water to form a tapia while the roof is usually made from either carat or palm leaves. The postcard is addressed to Mr. Thomas of Baltimore Maryland.
