Abstract
The post card depicts an aerial view of the St. Lucia Harbour. Ships of various kinds can be seen on two sides of the capital Castries. The town is built up with many buildings. In the distance, away from the wharf, there is lush vegetation dotted with buildings. In the far distance there are mountains. On the front of the postcard is written “Port Castries, 22 November 1916, Jean.” There is a small red stamp with a head of a man 1d. Joseph Le Grand, Photographer, St. Lucia. No. 5. The back reads St. Lucia (Ste. Lucie).
