New allegations have been made in the case of Jamaican woman, Joy Gardner who collapsed and died after being restrained by police officers who had gone to her house to deport her. At a public meeting in North London, Joy Gardner’s mother, Myrna Simpson described what she believes had happened. Joy Gardner’s five-year old son is being treated for psychological problems after witnessing the struggle at his mother’s flat.
