Abstract
This picture depicts Broad Street in Barbados in earlier years. The presence of the horse-drawn carriages indicates that it was the popular form of transportation then. Two business signs are recognizable - Harrison's & Advocate. A Woman can also be seen with a well-balanced basket on her head.
