Abstract
Gasparee Island also known as Gaspar Grande was granted to Gaspar de Percin la Roque in 1783 by Governor Chacon and over time became known as Gaspar Grande. The Island is primarily a vacation spot. The postcard shows individuals in sail boats enjoying the good weather while in the background among the trees a vacation home can be seen.
